With all of the craziness that is surrounding our world right now, I completely forgot to brag on my kiddos and all of their hard work. Just before our schools closed, my students were able to put on a living wax museum for our school and community. I was concerned some wouldn't get finished, but it all came together and my students ROCKED IT! The stood still for longer than I can and even endured a little heckling from some older siblings. I'm so proud of all they were able to accomplish. They were able to over come their frustrations with learning new technology, learn more about their chosen person than expected, and even got to showcase a little creativity. I hope this turns out to be one of their favorite learning experiences ever.
Digital Citizenship is more important now that ever. With the entire state transitioned to remote or distance learning, our students are on the internet more than ever before. Not only are they online more, but students are online at a much younger age than before. Below are two videos to help understand what digital citizenship is and why is is important that our students understand the importance of building a POSITIVE digital footprint now. You can see these and other resources I've gathered for on digital citizenship here .
